Postcard #20: Tvedestrand—Norway

This beautiful postcard of Tvedestrand town was sent by Cathrine from Norway. I really love the picturesque view of it. The white painted wooden houses alongside the harbor and the lush trees in the background looks so nice. It's very Scandinavian style, I think. So simple yet so elegant :). Cathrine told me that Tvedestrand is a book town. This means that it's a bunch of book stores there. It's such a very wow fact, noting that I am a book-enthusiast :p! Most of the stores sell second-hand books.

Anyway, I am a fan of Kings of Convenience, and as a consequence I also become interested in Norway—the home-country of the band. Therefore I was very happy to have this Norwegian card. I wish I can visit there someday! I imagine how lovely it will be, to make a stroll through the pleasant waterfront and hunting some interesting books in Tvedestrand.

On the back of the card, Cathrine put a cute stamp of bjørn (in English: bear). I like it! Thank you! :)
