Postcard #8:Tiananmen Square—China

I received a nice postcard of Tiananmen Square's aerial view from Vicky in China. From this postcard I can see many famous buildings such as Monument to People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, The Forbidden City, and Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. Tiananmen square is the largest square in the world. It is a very massive meeting place. Trees line the east and west edges of the square, but the square itself is open and flat, with neither trees nor benches. Just wondering how uncomfortable it will get, to visit the square in the hot sunny days.

Vicky put two stamps of flower, and two definitive stamps depicting earth and tree.

Xie xie, Vicky. :)
