Postcard #9:Fraser Island—Australia

Australia is an amazing continent with tons of nature's spectacle. My pen-pal from Australia, Sharon, sent me a nice postcard of Fraser Island that showing the exceptional beauty of it. Fraser Island is located along the southern coast of Queensland. It is inscribed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1992. With an area of 184,000 hectares it is the largest sand island in the world. Sharon told me that Fraser Island is also the only place in the world where tall rain forests are found growing on sand dunes at elevations of over 200 metres. It's such a wonderland!

Sharon put two animal stamps of Coral Rabbitfish and Koala on the postcard. So cute! :D
